BetterWriteNow is a personal, non-commercial project operated by an individual developer. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

3. No Storage of Text

  • Your inputs are processed locally in your browser.
  • BetterWriteNow does not collect, transmit, or store your entered text.
  • Clearing your browser cache or local storage will permanently erase stored content and preferences.

4. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Submit unlawful, defamatory, harmful, or infringing content.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service.
  • Use the Service in any way that competes with or harms the interests of BetterWriteNow.

You are solely responsible for any content you input, and for any consequences resulting from your use of the Service or its outputs.

5. Intellectual Property

  • The Service’s software, design, and features are owned by BetterWriteNow and are protected by intellectual property laws.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit the Service without prior consent from BetterWriteNow.
  • Your text remains yours. BetterWriteNow claims no rights in your input.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Outputs

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” BetterWriteNow is a pet project, not a guaranteed or professional service. BetterWriteNow makes no warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, regarding accuracy, fitness for purpose, reliability, or availability.

The outputs and results generated by the Service may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for use in legal, medical, or professional contexts. You acknowledge and agree that you must not rely on the Service or its outputs for decisions of consequence.

If liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, BetterWriteNow's total liability shall not exceed USD $50.

9. Termination

11. Miscellaneous

  • Severability: If any clause is held invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
  • No Waiver: A failure to enforce rights under these Terms does not waive them.
  • Force Majeure: BetterWriteNow is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control (e.g. internet outages, natural disasters).

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms represent the complete agreement between you and BetterWriteNow relating to the Service and supersede all prior understandings.
